Job Description

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is a leading in-house event marketing provider specializing in person-to-person marketing services, primarily servicing Costco, one of the largest membership-based warehouse clubs in North America. CDS is renowned for its expertise in driving sales through dynamic product demonstrations and marketing events. As the preferred marketing partner of Costco, CDS operates with a commitment to excellence, integrity, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. They focus on promoting a wide variety of consumer packaged goods, food products, and other retail items through trained product demonstrators who engage directly with club members, enhancing product visibility and sales effectiveness.

CDS is currently seeking a full-time Event Manager for product demonstration responsibilities. This leadership role is pivotal in the recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of in-store product demonstrators who prepare and present products to Costco members. The Event Manager will play a key role in ensuring that demonstrations meet the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer service. This includes coordinating communication between warehouse managers, vendors, and product demonstrators to maintain smooth event operations and support new store openings. The position requires exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders efficiently.

This role offers a set schedule, typically from Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional variations based on business needs. CDS emphasizes work-life balance and provides robust full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off.

As an Event Manager with CDS, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of promotional events, from staff recruitment and training, to event execution and post-event performance analysis. Collaboration with district management will be critical to evaluate event metrics such as sales performance, labor efficiency, and cost management to achieve revenue and operational goals. This role demands adaptability to fast-paced retail environments and a commitment to upholding strong governance principles and company policies.

Overall, this role is ideal for a proactive and experienced professional who is passionate about event marketing and enjoys leading teams to deliver exceptional customer engagement and sales results. CDS offers a supportive and dynamic work environment, where a motivated Event Manager can thrive while making a direct impact on both client satisfaction and business success.
