Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is a recognized leader in event marketing, specializing in providing outstanding person-to-person marketing services. CDS serves as the preferred in-house event marketing provider for Costco, one of the largest retail chains globally. Currently, CDS is seeking a Full Time Event Manager to join their team. This position is vital as it involves the recruitment, hiring, and supervision of in-store Product Demonstrators who play a key role in product presentations and driving sales within Costco stores. The Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of product demonstration including preparation, presentation, training of demonstrators, and ensuring top-notch customer service is delivered to all club members. The role demands excellent communication skills to maintain effective coordination between warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators. In addition, the Event Manager will be expected to participate in new location grand openings, representing CDS as a key contributor to successful marketing events.
As a full time position, the Event Manager at CDS benefits from a structured schedule running Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with some flexibility based on business needs. Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments
- detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Duties
- Recruit, train and hire part-time staff
- oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety and sanitation
- train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and excellent customer services
- communicate between multiple managers, vendors and demonstrators
- participate in new location grand openings as required
