Job Description
Hilton Grand Vacations Company (HGVC) is a premier hospitality company known for providing outstanding vacation experiences at their branded locations and local Hilton Hotels. As a part of the Hilton family, HGVC prides itself on creating memorable moments for guests through high-quality service and impeccable transportation solutions. The company emphasizes a strong team culture enriched with ample employee benefits, including health care options, travel discounts, and career advancement opportunities. Their commitment to employee wellbeing and professional growth makes them a leading employer in the hospitality and tourism industry. The role of the CDL Driver with Passenger Endorsement is central to the seamless transportation of guests between HGVC locations and affiliated sites throughout Las Vegas, ensuring a safe and enjoyable journey. This is a full-time position requiring interaction with guests, knowledge of local landmarks, and delivery of exceptional customer service. Day one benefits eligibility and competitive compensation underscore the company’s dedication to valuing its team members.
In this CDL Driver role, the individual is not only responsible for driving heavy goods vehicles to transport guests to their destinations but also acts as an ambassador of the Las Vegas area, providing guided tour commentary during transport. The driver must be familiar with the Las Vegas Strip, Fremont Street, and surrounding neighborhoods, enabling efficient navigation through various traffic conditions and peak times. Beyond driving duties, the role demands guest interaction, including greeting guests at key locations, assisting with luggage or special requests, and taking souvenir photos, enhancing the guest experience. The driver also supports operational tasks like vehicle maintenance coordination, courier duties, radio communication, and occasionally filling in as a host. The position requires multitasking skills, physical stamina, and flexibility to work varied hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Prospective candidates should possess a valid Nevada CDL license with a passenger endorsement, a recent DOT physical, and maintain a good driving record. Excellence in customer service skills, the ability to interact diplomatically with diverse guests, and a professional appearance aligned with Hilton standards are essential. This role is ideal for self-starters who thrive in dynamic environments and can comfortably operate technology such as computers and communication radios. Health, dental and vision benefits are available immediately, along with paid time off, employee assistance programs, 401(k) plans with company match, tuition reimbursement, and many other perks that contribute to work-life balance and career growth. HGVC promotes an inclusive work environment and accommodates individuals with disabilities, ensuring equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.
