The organization strongly commits to sustainability, aiming to leave the world a better place by fostering responsible caretakers of the planet. WM offers competitive pay, with this particular position offering $26.50 per hour, commensurate with experience, and a Monday to Friday schedule starting early at 4:45 AM.

The role is that of a Commercial Driver with WM, operating heavy-duty trucks designed to collect, transport, and dispose of waste and recyclable materials. This position requires the commercial driver to manage various types of trucks equipped with specialized lifts based on the business line and truck type. Responsibilities include moving containers filled with waste or recyclables to designated disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities once legal load limits are met. Drivers must skillfully maneuver large containers, sometimes weighing over 1,000 pounds, through residential or industrial areas, requiring expert backing and driving skills in tight or congested environments. This demanding role not only involves operating vehicles safely and efficiently but also actively engaging with operations management to optimize route performance and ensure customer satisfaction by keeping service areas clean and free of debris. Drivers are also required to comply strictly with safety regulations established by OSHA, DOT, and WM policies. They participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on safety and operational procedures. This position emphasizes the company's culture of safety, growth, and stability, offering employees a stable career path with benefits, training, and advancement opportunities.
