Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- no experience required and on the job training provided
- no high school diploma, GED or college degree required
- this role may require a CDL with a specific class and endorsement requirement
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or college degree not required
- ability to operate shuttle vehicles safely
- strong customer service and communication skills
- familiarity with safety and maintenance standards
- ability to assist passengers with special needs using specialized equipment
- ability to maintain accurate records and logs
- preferred one year of prior work experience as a passenger shuttle driver
Job Duties
- Transport passengers to and from assigned locations including airports, commercial buildings, hospitals, sports arenas, entertainment venues, educational facilities, and warehouses
- ensure safe loading and unloading of passengers including those with special needs using specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts and tie-downs
- assist passengers with luggage loading and unloading as needed
- inspect vehicles regularly to identify unsafe conditions or maintenance issues and perform routine cleaning and bus maintenance activities
- provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to guest inquiries and providing directions
- maintain and enforce bus evacuation plans and coordinate evacuation activities as appropriate
- promptly report any incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
- refuel and maintain shuttle equipment and fuel use logs
- maintain a clean and disinfected shuttle environment after each use
- perform pre-inspection and post-inspection of vehicles to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation standards and safety protocols
