Job Description

ABM is one of the world’s largest providers of facility services and solutions, offering a wide range of essential and forward-looking performance solutions that improve the spaces and places that matter most. Founded in 1909, ABM serves over 20,000 clients globally with annualized revenue nearing $8 billion and employs more than 100,000 team members across over 350 offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations. The company is known for its commitment to providing a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable world through services that include janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical, landscape and turf, and mission-critical solutions. ABM caters to various industries such as commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and entertainment venues, making it a versatile and dynamic workplace.

The CDL Shuttle Driver position at ABM is based within the UPS World Port facility, where the driver is responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to and from designated locations. Operating a 40-passenger shuttle bus in a secure but high-traffic environment, which includes interaction with other moving vehicles and aircraft, requires strong attention to safety and professionalism. This role is hourly paid, offering a competitive salary range of $23 to $24.50 per hour, with the specific pay based on factors such as experience, skills, geographic location, and market alignment. ABM embraces diversity and is a military-friendly employer, actively encouraging veterans and candidates with military experience to apply, with training programs that leverage their unique skills.

This role is ideal for individuals entering or returning to the workforce, with limited formal education or experience. A key responsibility is to provide excellent customer service, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers, including those with special needs by using specialized equipment like wheelchair lifts and tie-downs. The role involves performing vehicle inspections, reporting incidents, refueling the shuttle, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards according to Department of Transportation regulations. Drivers also coordinate bus evacuation procedures when necessary and keep detailed records of vehicle conditions. Working as a CDL Shuttle Driver at ABM means contributing to a well-organized, safety-conscious transportation service within one of the busiest logistics hubs, ensuring the smooth transfer of airport personnel and guests across the world-class port facility.
