We are currently looking for energetic and reliable Shuttle Drivers to join our dynamic team. This important role involves safely transporting passengers between designated locations within a construction site, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with flexible shifts offered Monday through Friday, including early morning, mid-morning, and afternoon time slots. As a Shuttle Driver at Windstar Lines, you will play a critical role in delivering top-tier transportation solutions, combining your driving skills with exceptional customer service abilities. You will be responsible for maintaining high safety standards while providing a smooth and pleasant travel experience for every passenger. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving, taking pride in their work, and contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Your daily responsibilities will include operating shuttle vehicles such as motorcoach buses and mini buses along fixed routes or schedules. You will assist passengers during boarding and exiting, ensuring a friendly and professional interaction at all times. Rigorous pre-trip inspections will be part of your duties to assure that each vehicle is safe, clean, and mechanically sound prior to starting your shift. Clear communication with dispatchers and passengers is essential to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments effectively. Additionally, you will perform light maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure, and promptly reporting mechanical issues. Occasionally, you may need to assist with heavy lifting when loading and unloading luggage or equipment. Meticulous record-keeping of trips, mileage, and vehicle conditions will also be expected to maintain operational standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsements
- Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no recent violations
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Physical ability to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving
- Availability to work flexible shifts Monday through Friday
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in shuttle driving delivery driving bus driving or similar roles involving commercial driving
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record appropriate endorsements for passenger transport required
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to paratransit or school bus driving is advantageous
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles including motorcoach buses and mini buses on designated routes or schedules
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles providing friendly and professional customer service
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness before each shift
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and passengers to coordinate pickups drop-offs and route updates
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels tire pressure and reporting any mechanical issues
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary for luggage or equipment loading/unloading
- Maintain accurate logs of trips mileage and vehicle condition throughout your shift
