This role is for a US Foods Driver based in the Saraland, AL Shuttle Yard location. The primary responsibility involves driving tractor trailers loaded with various food products such as meats, produce, frozen items, and dry goods to and from remote dispatch sites. Candidates must have a doubles endorsement and a minimum of six months driving experience with doubles preferred. The position is full-time, with a schedule of Sunday through Thursday from 7pm until the job is done, with potential Fridays for overtime. Drivers will perform essential duties including pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and maintenance of their equipment. Physical fitness is necessary as drivers must be comfortable operating in various weather conditions. Job Requirements
- Must have valid CDL Class A with doubles endorsement
- Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience
- Comfortable working overnight shifts
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Must be at least 21 years old

Job Duties

- Maintain logs and complete necessary paperwork accurately
