Job Description

ABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world’s leading providers of facility services and solutions, committed to creating cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environments. Established in 1909, ABM offers a comprehensive range of essential services and forward-looking solutions that enhance the spaces that matter most to people and businesses. With an annual revenue nearing $8 billion and over 100,000 team members operating out of more than 350 offices across the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations, ABM serves a diverse portfolio of industries. These industries include commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, entertainment venues, and many more.

ABM’s extensive service offerings span janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical, landscape and turf, and mission critical services. The company is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming qualified candidates regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local laws. ABM also participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify program to validate employment eligibility. The company is deeply committed to supporting veterans and military personnel transitioning to civilian careers, providing access to world-class training programs and a variety of frontline and professional opportunities.

The CDL Shuttle Driver position at ABM involves transporting passengers within the secure and high-traffic UPS World Port facility. This role requires operating a 40-passenger shuttle bus safely and efficiently amid other moving vehicles and aircraft. As a CDL Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading passengers, including those with special needs, using specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts and tie-downs. The role requires adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and safety procedures while ensuring a clean and disinfected shuttle environment after each use.

In addition to driving duties, this position entails inspecting the shuttle vehicle both before and after shifts to record any preexisting damage or operational concerns, providing excellent customer service to passengers, maintaining and enforcing bus evacuation plans, and promptly reporting any incidents to management. You will be involved in refueling the shuttle and maintaining overall work area cleanliness. This job is ideal for individuals entering or returning to the workforce, with no formal educational requirement beyond possessing a valid CDL license and one year of prior CDL driving experience. The company encourages veterans and those with military experience to apply, recognizing the value of skills gained through military service.

Driving a shuttle within a busy transportation hub demands strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and customer service skills. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that supports career growth and skill development in the transportation and facility services sector. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those seeking a responsible, dynamic position with a globally respected company dedicated to operational excellence and workforce inclusivity.
