The Brooklyn Heights, OH location of UniFirst is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking CDL Shuttler & Transport Driver to join their team. This is a full-time position offering a 5-day work week with weekends off, providing an excellent work-life balance. The role involves transporting and delivering production materials between plant and branch locations utilizing a CDL-required commercial motor vehicle, with or without a trailer. As a CDL Shuttler & Transport Driver, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and safe movement of products between various UniFirst locations. Your duties will include driving commercial vehicles in compliance with federal and state regulations, efficiently loading and unloading cargo, conducting daily pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of your vehicle to company standards. You must also adhere strictly to Department of Transportation regulations, company policies, and safety protocols, including using electronic logging devices and ensuring proper load securement.
