Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- class B CDL
- must have Hazmat endorsement or be able to obtain the endorsement within 60 days of being hired
- successful completion of Airgas background and motor vehicle check
- DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required
- ability to routinely lift 25 to 75 lbs and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs
- willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
- ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
- adherence to safety regulations and policies
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- forklift experience
- touch freight delivery experience
Job Duties
- operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes
- collect empty cylinders from customers and address inquiries to ensure complete satisfaction
- record all transactions accurately and obtain necessary customer signatures
- handle the loading and unloading of all materials
- conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintain vehicle condition
- maintain a professional appearance and represent the company during all deliveries
