The Local CDL Delivery Driver role is a full-time position that provides home daily routes, allowing drivers the advantage of returning home every day after completing their shifts. The role offers an attractive annual earning potential up to $92,000, depending on performance and experience, along with comprehensive benefits. This opportunity is available for candidates holding either a CDL-A or CDL-B license. Drivers in this role will be responsible for running routes efficiently with frequent stops to deliver and unload fresh food products to customers. They will be expected to load their packages onto hand trucks and unload products at each stop in the sequence designated by the Transportation Department Manager. Drivers operate the cross-dock model by picking up loaded trucks from a nightly delivery at the assigned loading dock and returning empty trucks to the lot at the route's completion.

Beyond the physical demands of delivering product, this role requires excellent customer service skills, as drivers interact directly with customers to verify deliveries and obtain necessary signatures. Drivers must also maintain accurate communication with management regarding any discrepancies or issues with invoices or product returns. Typical shifts are 10 hours long, starting early in the morning between midnight and 3 a.m., allowing drivers to be home in time for dinner.
