Job Description

SHARP Fleet LLC is a respected local transportation company based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, renowned for its commitment to providing reliable and efficient freight delivery services. Operating as an Amazon Freight Partner, SHARP Fleet specializes in local and regional haulage, focusing on no-touch freight operations. This company prides itself on a culture that fosters growth, collaboration, and accountability, distinguishing itself in the competitive logistics market through exceptional service, integrity, and professionalism. By leveraging state-of-the-art technology and maintaining a safety-first approach, SHARP Fleet ensures that its drivers are equipped to deliver timely and dependable shipments while supporting their personal and professional development.

The opportunity at SHARP Fleet LLC is tailored for motivated Class A CDL drivers interested in part-time, on-call work with the flexibility to choose when they operate, making it ideal for individuals seeking work-life balance and consistent income. Drivers are home daily after completing local and regional routes averaging 300 to 500 miles round trip. This role offers an engaging work environment within a company culture that values feedback, mentorship, and teamwork to foster continuous improvement and career advancement. Compensation is competitive at $24 per hour, and the scheduling is highly adaptable to your availability, with shifts beginning between 1 AM and 11 PM across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, and weekends.

In this role, you will primarily haul Amazon freight using a drop-and-hook system with no-touch loads, minimizing physical handling of merchandise and focusing on safe and efficient transportation. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate driving logs in compliance with federal and state regulations, conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, verifying the accuracy of freight loads, and utilizing app-based technology to track and document shipments and hours worked. SHARP Fleet ensures drivers are supported with newer model 2022-2024 day cabs, comprehensive safety training, and access to modern tools and company policies designed to streamline performance and promote a safety-conscious work environment.

Joining SHARP Fleet means becoming part of a cooperative team that includes drivers, dispatchers, and managers all working synergistically to transform innovative ideas into operational realities. The company emphasizes a coaching feedback model for continuous job performance enhancement, offers team-building activities such as sporting events and holiday parties to foster a strong workplace community, and provides a clear career roadmap that encourages long-term growth beyond just driving miles. As an equal opportunity employer, SHARP Fleet LLC embraces diversity and inclusion, considering all qualified applicants without regard to age, race, ethnicity, disability, or other protected characteristics, while explicitly stating that drivers will be employed directly by SHARP Fleet, a local transportation company affiliated with Amazon but independent from Amazon employment.
