Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- 12+ months commercial driving experience
- valid CDL A with doubles endorsement and recent experience
- must be 21 years of age
- meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- pass pre-employment drug test
- pass road test
- valid current DOT health card or able to secure new DOT health card
- able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move or stack product cases/ freight of varying size and weight

Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre and post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- report all safety issues and repairs required
- follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- ensure trailer is properly loaded and secured
- ensure all required route paperwork is with tractor trailer load
- drive and deliver trailers according to predetermined route schedule
- perform hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines
- park and store tractor trailers in designated areas
- ensure all equipment and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns in empty trailers
- unload equipment and remove trash from trailers as required
- complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log according to regulations
- perform general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock area
- perform other related duties as assigned
