Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Driver - Class B to join our warehouse team. This position reports directly to the Manager - Warehouse and is essential in maintaining our delivery excellence. The Driver - Class B will be responsible for daily deliveries of company products to customers using company-provided vehicles, including operating and maintaining a specialized pump truck for bulk oil and other merchandise distribution. This role demands a high level of technical skill to handle the multi-tank system efficiently and ensure safety during product transfers. The Driver will also perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, handle shipping papers, invoices, maintain daily travel logs, and ensure vehicles are kept clean and compliant with company and DOT regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Class B CDL license with tanker endorsement, have verifiable hazmat tanker experience, and maintain a clean driving record. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle routine manual labor including lifting, loading, and unloading are critical. This position requires someone with a proactive attitude, committed to safety, who can effectively communicate and maintain paperwork and logs with accuracy. Our company provides a supportive work environment where adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols is a top priority. The role also includes maintaining a neat and safe warehouse environment to promote operational efficiency.

This full-time position demands a candidate who can safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles and is capable of lifting a minimum of 60 pounds continuously. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • valid Texas driver’s license
  • CDL license with tanker endorsement
  • clear driving record for previous 3 years
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • must have two years verifiable hazmat tanker experience
  • ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • basic math skills
  • ability to lift 60 lbs continuously
  • ability to read and write in English
  • must successfully complete background and criminal history checks
  • must pass physical, human performance evaluation and drug test
  • maintain regular and prompt attendance
  • maintain attitude supporting company’s goals and values

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Duties

  • Transporting bulk oil and miscellaneous stock via the pump truck
  • performing pre trip and post trip inspections
  • recording malfunctions of equipment on the inspection sheet
  • loading and unloading trucks manually and using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks
  • maintaining daily log sheets including miles and times at each stop
  • maintaining delivery, truck and driving records
  • operating the multi-tank system on the trucks
  • following safety measures while filling customer tanks
  • handling money from customers and making change
  • presenting a good image of the company through proper dress and attitude
  • maintaining a clean vehicle both exterior and interior
  • maintaining a satisfactory attendance record
  • keeping work environment safe and clean
  • complying with all OSHA and company safety procedures
