Job Duties
- Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation
- perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order
- safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck
- safely deliver and unload materials to an assigned area as directed by the customer
- prepare the truck for the following day and maintain the truck and the equipment
- maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations
- report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
- stamina to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload
- navigate routes to the job site
- excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
