Job Requirements
- CDL licensed
- pass driver's testing
- pass DOT physical and drug testing
- capable of working in a physically demanding work environment
- able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- able to walk extensively in all weather conditions throughout the year
Job Qualifications
- Current and active Class B or Class A driver’s license with good driving record
- moffett experience highly preferred
- proficient in reading and writing English
- knowledge of basic math
- ability to read and write the English language
- map reading skills
Job Duties
- Drive truck to destination
- distribute receipts for load picked up
- occasionally collect payment for goods delivered and delivery charges
- maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
- maintain telephone and/or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
- assist customers with the offloading process
- inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
- position blocks and tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit
