This particular role is a first shift position for a licensed CDL Driver aspiring to advance their career by working with a leading distributor in the building materials sector. You will be responsible for safely delivering exterior and interior building products, ensuring that each delivery is handled with the utmost care from departure at the facility to completion at the job site. The role emphasizes safety, responsibility, and professionalism, requiring adherence to all regulatory standards and company policies. Drivers will conduct thorough load checks, properly secure materials, and cooperate with delivery material handlers to efficiently unload shipments. The job involves direct customer interaction, requiring friendly and professional communication at all times. Furthermore, drivers document each delivery step by capturing and uploading photos, maintain and complete all necessary government paperwork, and provide customers with invoices while managing cash on delivery transactions.
