This role is for a licensed CDL Driver seeking an engaging, local opportunity with an established and respected company. The position emphasizes safety and accuracy throughout the entire delivery process, ensuring materials reach the job site in excellent condition. The driver will be responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle to and from job sites, physically handling and positioning materials, and upholding all company and regulatory safety standards. This is a vital role in the supply chain of building materials, as it directly affects the productivity of contractors and the timely completion of projects. Additionally, the position requires a strong attention to detail to verify orders are accurate and that deliveries are executed according to instructions. Candidates will also handle warehouse duties as assigned, including assisting with loading and unloading materials.

Specific duties include operating delivery vehicles, unloading and stocking materials at job sites, supervising unloading to ensure safety and accuracy, handling building materials safely with coworkers, operating cranes or booms when necessary, and maintaining the organization and appearance of delivered products. The role does not require over-the-road travel, focusing instead on local deliveries.
