Job Description

ABC Supply Interiors is a prominent specialty distributor that provides high-quality drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing, and other essential building materials to both commercial and residential contractors. Known for combining the extensive resources and capabilities of a national distributor with personalized service typically found in locally owned businesses, ABC Supply Interiors has established itself as a trusted partner in the construction and renovation industry. The company prides itself on delivering products efficiently while offering a personal touch that fosters strong relationships with customers. As part of a leading national network, ABC Supply Interiors maintains a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction, ensuring contractors have access to the right materials exactly when they need them.

ABC Supply Interiors is currently seeking a licensed CDL Driver to join their team in a rewarding, local role. This position is ideal for anyone looking for stable employment with an established company that values safety, professionalism, and teamwork. As a CDL Driver, your primary responsibility will be to safely deliver building materials to various job sites within the local area. You will be entrusted with the care of valuable products from the moment you leave the facility until every delivery is safely completed. This role requires a strong commitment to safety regulations, meticulous attention to detail in handling and loading materials, and a customer-focused attitude on the job site.

The Driver position involves more than just transportation; it includes tasks such as unloading and stocking materials with the assistance of co-workers, overseeing safe loading practices to ensure accuracy and quality, and effectively operating equipment like booms, cranes, or Gradalls when necessary. You will also be responsible for supervising unloading operations to guarantee that all deliveries are accurate and meet safety standards. Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring that delivered products are neatly placed and presented orderly upon arrival.

ABC Supply Interiors emphasizes the importance of site safety, expecting every driver to be accountable for maintaining a secure environment during deliveries. The role also sometimes involves warehouse duties, including loading and unloading of trucks or warehouse stock as assigned. Unlike over-the-road truck driving jobs, this position is local with no overnight travel, making it suitable for those seeking consistent, attainable work-life balance.

By joining ABC Supply Interiors as a CDL Driver, you become part of a company that not only values your contributions but also offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work culture. The company is committed to fostering diversity and encourages applications from women, minorities, and veterans. ABC Supply offers competitive pay along with health, dental, and vision coverage, and several other benefits designed to support its employees' well-being and professional growth. This is an excellent opportunity for licensed CDL drivers who are ready to make a meaningful impact in a local, fast-paced distribution environment.
