Job Description

ABC Supply is America’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, serving the construction industry with a wide range of quality materials. Established as a nationally recognized leader in the building supply sector, ABC Supply prides itself on being an employee-first company, which has earned it the prestigious Gallup Great Workplace Award every year since 2007. The company also enjoys a strong reputation as one of the best places to work in the country, as recognized by Glassdoor. With a commitment to fostering professional growth and recognizing employees’ talents, ABC Supply offers a collaborative and supportive environment that allows individuals to reach their full potential while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

This position is for a licensed CDL driver who seeks to advance their career within a firmly established company that values safety, professionalism, and customer service. The CDL driver role at ABC Supply involves managing deliveries efficiently while ensuring safety from the start of the route to the completion of each job. This is a Monday-to-Friday, day-shift position, working from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no requirement for over-the-road travel, making it ideal for local drivers who want to be home every night. Drivers make both ground and rooftop deliveries, requiring physical capability and attention to safety regulations.

Salary for this role ranges from $30 to $33 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The role includes a range of responsibilities such as conducting a thorough load check, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining a safe work zone on job sites, documenting deliveries with photo uploads, and providing accurate invoicing to customers. Drivers also collaborate closely with material handlers to unload deliveries properly and perform some warehouse duties, including loading and unloading materials.

ABC Supply offers a comprehensive benefits package for this position that includes health, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with a generous company match, and employer-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance. Additionally, employees have access to a paid vacation, sick days, holidays, flexible spending accounts, and an employee assistance program to support wellbeing both on and off the job. This combination of competitive pay, benefits, and a respected company culture makes ABC Supply a highly appealing employer for CDL drivers looking to grow their careers in a supportive environment.
