This position is for a licensed CDL Driver who will be part of ABC Supply's dynamic delivery team. The driver will follow a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring all deliveries are handled safely and efficiently. This role focuses on local deliveries with no over-the-road travel, allowing drivers to return home every night. The job involves not only driving but also engaging directly with customers to provide friendly and professional service. You will be responsible for conducting load checks, securing cargo, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and working cooperatively with the delivery material handler during each job site to unload materials properly.

The position requires meticulous documentation of each delivery, with the use of a camera phone system to capture necessary photos at every step. Drivers are also responsible for completing all required logs and government paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, collecting payment on COD deliveries and providing invoices to customers is a key part of the role. Warehouse duties may also be part of the job, including loading and unloading materials as assigned. ABC Supply values safety highly and expects drivers to maintain safe work zones at all job sites.
