Job Description

ABC Supply is America’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, dedicated to providing exceptional solutions to contractors, builders, and homeowners across the nation. Established as a nationally recognized company, ABC Supply is not only a leader in the building materials industry but also a renowned employer that emphasizes an employee-first culture. The company has consistently been honored with the prestigious Gallup Great Workplace Award every year since its inception in 2007. Additionally, ABC Supply has earned accolades from Glassdoor as one of the best places to work in the United States, reflecting its commitment to fostering a supportive and rewarding work environment.

As a licensed CDL Driver at ABC Supply, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless distribution of building materials to job sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional drivers who want to advance their driving careers with a stable and reputable company. One of the key advantages of this role is that it allows you to do what you love every day while still having the comfort of being home every night, as it does not involve over-the-road travel. Your responsibilities will include handling deliveries with care and precision, working closely with delivery material handlers, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

In this role, you will be entrusted with the safekeeping of each delivery from the moment you leave the ABC Supply facility until the completion of each job. Your duties will extend beyond just driving to include conducting thorough load checks, securing delivery materials properly, and documenting each delivery step through a camera phone system. You will also be responsible for interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner, accurately completing all required logs and government paperwork, and managing cash-on-delivery transactions. The position offers the chance to engage in warehouse work such as loading and unloading materials, supporting the operation in a dynamic work setting.

At ABC Supply, the commitment to employee wellbeing is evident through a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, financial security, and work-life balance. The company’s inclusive work culture actively encourages diversity, welcoming women, minorities, and veterans to be part of the team. With ABC Supply, you will find an employer that recognizes your efforts, rewards your achievements, and helps cultivate your career potential. This CDL Driver role is ideal for professionals who value job stability, career advancement opportunities, and a positive company culture dedicated to employee success.
