This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, allowing drivers to maintain a healthy work-life balance with no overnight or over-the-road travel required. As a CDL Driver at ABC Supply, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of building materials to various job sites. Your responsibility will extend from conducting pre-trip inspections to verifying that all materials are safely secured and complying with federal, state, and local regulations, to providing excellent customer service during each delivery. You will work closely with the delivery team, efficiently unloading and positioning materials while maintaining a safe work zone on each job site.

Additionally, this role involves some warehouse responsibilities, such as loading and unloading materials either onto or off trucks or into the warehouse, which requires you to have the physical ability to lift heavy cargo repeatedly, typically bundles of shingles weighing around 70 pounds. The position demands a high level of attention to detail as accurate documentation and photo verification of deliveries are required using modern technology systems. Completing and filing all required logs and government paperwork thoroughly and timely is essential, as is handling the collection of payments on COD deliveries.
