With a rich history spanning 70 years, Vantive has consistently driven meaningful innovations in kidney care. The company is deeply committed to enhancing the dialysis experience by integrating digital solutions and advancing services, while also investing in the transformation of vital organ therapies beyond kidney care. Vantive’s mission focuses on providing greater flexibility and efficiency in therapy administration for healthcare teams, ultimately aiming for longer and fuller lives for patients. This makes Vantive a leader in the kidney care industry and a place where employees contribute to impactful and meaningful work.

Joining Vantive means becoming part of a focused and courageous community that refuses to settle for mediocrity. The work environment is dynamic, supportive, and dedicated to improving patient outcomes worldwide. Employees are encouraged to push boundaries and innovate within their roles, contributing to a mission that makes a real difference.

The role of Service Specialist (CDL Delivery Driver) at Vantive is a critical component in the delivery and support of dialysis products. The specialist is responsible for safely operating an 18 to 24-foot commercial vehicle to deliver dialysis products to patients receiving home treatments as well as to kidney dialysis centers. In this role, the employee ensures timely and accurate delivery of dialysis solutions, manages stock rotation, confirms order accuracy, and occasionally handles order pickups and returns. The position is physically demanding and requires delivering up to and sometimes exceeding 45 cases per delivery, often covering diverse urban and rural locations.

This role operates on a 4-day workweek schedule with shifts from 5 am to 3 pm or 6 am to 4 pm, including 1 to 2 overnight stays per week for which hotel accommodations and meal per diems are provided. The schedule features weekends off, promoting work-life balance. Compensation for the Service Specialist role starts at $33.17 per hour, with an estimated annual salary range of $51,200 to $70,400 depending on location, experience, and skills.

Service Specialists at Vantive receive comprehensive benefits starting from day one. These include paid time off, paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage. Additional benefits encompass paid parental leave, retirement savings plans, flexible health care spending accounts, educational assistance programs, and opportunities for overtime work. The role requires adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and safety protocols, management of electronic logging devices for tracking hours of service, and proficient operation of material handling equipment such as lift gates, pallet jacks, and stair climbers.

The physical work environment is varied, including distribution centers, tractors and trailers, patient homes, and dialysis centers, demanding frequent lifting of cases up to 50 pounds, active movement, bending, climbing, and working under various weather conditions. Effective communication skills are essential, as the Service Specialist collaborates closely with healthcare teams, customer service, regional office staff, and patients, ensuring a high standard of service and care.

Vantive is committed to equitable pay and transparency, offering competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits that support employee well-being and professional growth. The company is an equal opportunity employer, valuing diversity and providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Vantive also maintains rigorous policies against recruitment fraud to protect its applicants.
