Job Description
Vantive is a prominent vital organ therapy company dedicated to extending lives and expanding possibilities for patients and care teams across the globe. With a rich history spanning over 70 years, Vantive has been a leader in innovative kidney care solutions. Their commitment to improving the dialysis experience is evident through the integration of digital solutions and advanced services, aimed at delivering greater flexibility and efficiency in therapy administration. Beyond kidney care, Vantive is investing in transforming treatments for vital organ therapies, striving to provide longer and fuller lives for patients reliant on these critical healthcare services.
As a company, Vantive fosters a culture of focus, courage, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Employees become part of a community dedicated to meaningful work that improves patient outcomes worldwide. The company values those who reject mediocrity and are driven to make impactful contributions in healthcare innovation.
The Service Specialist (CDL Delivery Driver) role at Vantive is integral to the operational success of the company’s supply chain and patient care delivery. This position involves safely operating commercial vehicles between 18 to 24 feet in length to deliver dialysis products to both home patients and kidney dialysis centers. The job requires careful handling of dialysis solutions, stock rotation, order accuracy verification, and occasional product pick-ups and returns. The selected candidate will work a structured schedule of four-day work weeks with early start times, including two overnight stays per week with provided accommodations and meals, and enjoys weekends off.
This physically demanding role requires delivering up to and sometimes exceeding 45 cases per trip, navigating both urban and rural locations. The Service Specialist coordinates closely with the supply chain team, dialysis patients, regional office personnel, customer service teams, and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate product delivery. Safety is paramount, with all activities adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
Vantive offers a competitive hourly wage of $34.62 and an annual estimated salary ranging from $51,200 to $70,400, dependent on location, skills, and experience. Benefits are comprehensive from day one and include paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, disability, and life insurance, plus vision and voluntary benefits. Additional perks include paid parental leave, retirement savings plans, flexible spending accounts, educational assistance, and overtime opportunities.
The company emphasizes a supportive physical work environment, requiring employees to perform various physical activities such as lifting cases up to 50 pounds, frequent vehicle entry and exit, bending, crouching, twisting, and working in temperature extremes. This role is suited for individuals who value a dynamic work setting, have strong communication skills, and are passionate about contributing to innovative patient care solutions. Joining Vantive means being part of a forward-thinking organization committed to revolutionizing vital organ therapy and improving lives globally.
