This position as a licensed CDL Driver and Roof Loader offers a unique opportunity to join a nationally established company that values safety, professionalism, and quality service. The role involves making both ground and rooftop deliveries, ensuring every delivery is executed safely and efficiently from the warehouse to the customer’s job site. Drivers do not engage in over-the-road travel, which means you can return home every night while enjoying a job filled with responsibility and interaction with customers. The role requires operating a commercial vehicle to deliver building materials such as shingles, which often weigh 70 pounds per bundle, requiring physical strength and endurance. Drivers work closely with Delivery Material Handlers, manage loading and unloading duties, and maintain strict compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations. They are also responsible for documenting deliveries through photos, maintaining logs, managing paperwork, collecting payments on COD deliveries, and creating a safe work zone at each job site.
