The open position is for a Delivery Driver, a critical role responsible for the safe and efficient transport of building materials using commercial motor vehicles such as flatbed or boom trucks. This role requires adherence to all company policies in alignment with Federal and State regulations to ensure the safe delivery of materials without damage. The delivery driver will take an active part in loading and unloading freight, maintaining the integrity of the materials and meeting delivery deadlines while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
  • Minimum Class B license, Class A strongly preferred
  • Clear three year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
  • Ability to lift heavy materials up to 100+ lbs
  • Strong stamina and physical fitness
  • Ability to work in outside environment consistently
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation
  • Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites
  • Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you
  • Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations
  • Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
  • Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional attitude
