Job Description

EquipmentShare is a leading company in the construction technology sector, dedicated to transforming the construction industry by integrating innovative technology and real-time support to empower contractors and communities. Founded with the mission to build something unprecedented, EquipmentShare leverages cutting-edge tools and a dedicated team to disrupt traditional construction practices. The company offers a people-first culture, where technology and human effort seamlessly combine to foster productivity, safety, and connectivity throughout its operations.

At EquipmentShare, teamwork, innovation, and commitment to continuous improvement are core values. The company operates a rental facility in Mound House, NV, where it is currently seeking to hire a CDL Delivery Driver. This role is not just about delivering heavy equipment—it is about delivering a transformative construction experience fueled by advanced technology. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22 to $34, with the final rate influenced by experience and location. The role operates Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including overtime pay after 40 hours of work. On-call scheduling with additional compensation is also part of the job.

The CDL Delivery Driver will operate vehicles in compliance with state and federal transportation laws, ensuring loads are transported safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to maneuver trucks and trailers skillfully, and a strong focus on safety and regulatory adherence. EquipmentShare’s proprietary T3 platform aids drivers by providing real-time access to fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details, making the delivery process more efficient and streamlined.

Drivers assist in loading and unloading materials, maintain documentation such as invoices and bills of lading, and ensure the upkeep of their vehicles. They also coordinate trailer arrangements for optimal loading and assist the loading crew as needed. Besides driving, the role encapsulates active participation in maintaining and reporting vehicle conditions and performing miscellaneous related duties.

Working at EquipmentShare offers more than just a paycheck—it provides a supportive environment that values each employee’s contribution. Employees enjoy a variety of benefits including full medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time workers, generous PTO plus paid holidays, 401(k) plans with company match, and perks such as monthly family dinner nights, gym membership stipends, and wellness programs. The company also supports community involvement with paid volunteer time and offers career advancement through leadership training and professional development opportunities.

Candidates for the CDL Delivery Driver role should be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Class A CDL or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight, and be able to pass required background checks, drug tests, and DOT physical exams. The role demands physical endurance for prolonged vehicle operation, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, frequent travel, and adherence to safety policies including potential grooming standards due to customer requirements.

EquipmentShare fosters an inclusive workplace that values diversity and the contributions of individuals from all backgrounds. Their initiative, A Workplace For All, underscores their commitment to attracting, developing, and retaining talented people to solve the toughest challenges in construction. EquipmentShare is an equal opportunity employer committed to a safe, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
