The Delivery Truck Driver role at US Foods is a critical position that plays a direct part in the company’s success and customer satisfaction. As a Delivery Truck Driver, you will be the face of the company to many customers, delivering a wide range of products including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and other supplies. This frontline role requires precision, responsibility, and a customer-first mindset to ensure timely deliveries with professionalism and care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with early starts between 3 to 5 am, and local routes that allow you to be home every night. Starting at an hourly wage of $21.24, with pay scales up to $26 based on experience and skills, this position provides competitive compensation along with incentive programs that reward your hard work.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid CDL A license with necessary endorsements
  • DOT qualification and compliance with FMCSA Clearinghouse registration
  • Minimum six months of commercial truck driving experience or three months of relevant foodservice delivery experience
  • Ability to perform manual lifting of heavy items
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, starting between 3 to 5 am
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Deliver best-in-class customer service
  • Deliver customers' orders to meet scheduled delivery times and keep productivity
  • Unload products with a hand truck and place items in customer storage area
  • Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds
  • Make frequent stops during a work shift
  • Deliver product in inclement weather conditions
  • Verify delivery of items with customers
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where needed
