The Delivery Driver role at GTS Interior Supply is a pivotal position responsible for the safe and efficient operation of commercial motor vehicles to deliver building materials to various job sites. This full-time role emphasizes compliance with federal and state regulations, safe handling of materials, and excellent customer service. Drivers are expected to inspect their vehicles for safety, load and unload heavy materials, and manage delivery schedules effectively. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required
  • Minimum Class B license required
  • Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
  • Ability to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to remain stationary while driving for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and coworkers
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required
  • Minimum Class B license required
  • Class A strongly preferred
  • Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness
  • Ability to prioritize safety and compliance

Job Duties

  • Inspect truck and trailer for defects to ensure safe operation
  • Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom trucks and unload products at commercial and residential job sites
  • Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of others
  • Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations
  • Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment
  • Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. during loading and unloading
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional attitude
