Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- minimum Class B license
- clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
- ability to lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs
- frequent lifting and moving of materials
- ability to remain stationary 40% of the time while driving
- ability to judge distance operating boom and deliver materials
- strong communication skills with management and coworkers
- ability to work in outside environments
- capacity to multitask and handle stress
- demonstrates sound judgement
- must report all accidents
- able to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- minimum Class B license, Class A strongly preferred
- clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
- ability to work independently and as a team player
- strong leadership and delegation skills
- effective communication skills both verbal and written
- ability to manage and prioritize tasks under stress
- commitment to integrity and servant leadership principles
Job Duties
- Inspect truck and trailer for defects for safe operation
- safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at job sites
- deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer while prioritizing safety
- maintain records for compliance with State and Federal regulations
- report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
- lift heavy building materials up to 100 lbs for loading and unloading
- provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude
