The role of a Delivery Driver at SRS Distribution, located at the Below Structure in Iowa City, IA, is pivotal to the company's distribution operations. This position primarily involves safely and efficiently operating commercial motor vehicles to deliver building materials to various commercial and residential job sites. The driver is responsible for ensuring all materials are delivered undamaged and that each delivery adheres to industry regulations as well as company policies. The Delivery Driver must perform thorough inspections of the truck and trailer to identify defects and ensure safe operation before and after deliveries. In addition to driving, this role includes physically loading and unloading heavy building materials, often weighing more than 80 pounds. Operational expertise of flatbed and boom trucks is essential, as the driver will maneuver materials using these vehicles at job sites. The role also requires maintaining accurate and up-to-date compliance records in line with both federal and state Department of Transportation regulations.

Job Duties
- Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation
- safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites

- maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations
- report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
