Performance Foodservice is currently expanding and seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Shuttle Drivers. This position is primarily a night shift role, working from Sunday to Thursday, with a pay rate starting at $300 per night. The Shuttle Driver plays a pivotal role in the company’s logistics operations by transporting empty trailers to warehouse locations and delivering full trailers to domicile or shuttle yard sites. Operating within intrastate and interstate routes, the driver ensures timely and secure transportation of goods while strictly adhering to Department of Transportation regulations. The role requires maneuvering various vehicles such as tandem trailers, tractor trailers, and straight trucks, reflecting a trusted responsibility within the company’s supply chain.

In addition to driving duties, the Shuttle Driver ensures all safety inspections and regulations are consistently met by conducting pre-trip and post-trip checks and maintaining vehicle and trailer standards. They communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers to resolve inquiries and maintain smooth operations. The role demands strong teamwork skills and flexibility to perform various related duties as needed to support the company’s mission.
