Job Description

Freight Forward Express is a well-established local transportation company based in Dallas, Texas, specializing in freight services and delivering superior logistics solutions. Partnering with major corporations, Freight Forward Express has carved a niche for itself in the competitive transportation industry by maintaining unwavering commitments to safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction. The company has gained recognition for its professionalism, dedication, and strategic collaboration with partner companies, most notably Amazon, as part of the Amazon Freight Partner program. This partnership underscores Freight Forward Express’s dynamic role in the broader national logistics network, providing drivers, vehicles, and technology to efficiently deliver goods while ensuring that operations run smoothly and client expectations exceed industry standards.

Freight Forward Express is currently expanding, seeking motivated Class A CDL truck drivers to join their team. This role entails delivering local freight routes based out of Dallas, with the benefit of being home every day after a shift. The Class A CDL driver will operate Amazon equipment and leverage Amazon’s advanced technology to facilitate day-to-day deliveries. The routes driven will typically measure between 300 and 500 miles round trip, encompassing both drop and hook (no-touch) freight and live loads that require active handling. Job shifts are varied and flexible, spanning mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, weekdays, or weekends, accommodating different lifestyles and preferences.

This position offers a competitive compensation package starting between $19 and $24 per hour, coupled with benefits such as health insurance and paid time off for full-time employees. Drivers will not be employed directly by Amazon but will hold employment with Freight Forward Express, which operates as an Amazon Freight Partner. The company places a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism, requiring drivers to hold a clean driving record and meet specific eligibility criteria, including passing a background check and DOT physical examinations.

The role is critical in maintaining seamless logistics operations by ensuring timely delivery of customer orders, irrespective of size. Drivers enjoy the independence of being on the road with a supportive team environment fostering camaraderie and a positive work culture. Consistent, year-round work guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week, allowing drivers to plan finances and personal life with stability. Communication skills are essential, as drivers must be adept at understanding highway signs and efficiently interacting with the public and company representatives. Overall, Freight Forward Express offers an attractive, stable career path for dedicated Class A CDL drivers ready to contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused transportation sector.
