Performance Foodservice emphasizes a safe and inclusive working environment, fostering a culture of respect, recognition, and employee rewards. Benefits begin on day one and include health and wellness coverage, participation in an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, 401K with employer matching, education assistance programs, paid time off, and much more.

Key responsibilities for this role encompass a wide variety of operational and customer service tasks. Drivers communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers, conduct thorough safety checks before and after trips, adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety guidelines, and ensure that freight is loaded, secured, and delivered accurately. The role also involves verifying shipments with customers, handling payment transactions where applicable, managing returns, and completing all requisite paperwork meticulously. The CDL-A Driver must maintain the cleanliness and order of the vehicle and loading areas, report safety hazards promptly, and adapt to a dynamic team environment to support company goals effectively.

Accurate record-keeping, a clean driving record, passing drug tests and background checks, and holding a valid CDL-A license are mandatory.
