The position offered is an entry-level Driver Trainee role, designed for individuals who are eager to launch a career in commercial driving within the food distribution industry. This role involves learning how to operate tractor trailers or straight trucks both intrastate and interstate, encompassing local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight delivery routes. Trainees will participate in a mandatory two-week training program held in Little Rock, which is a critical component for gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of skilled driver trainers. The training includes a comprehensive safety orientation covering pre-trip and post-trip inspections and adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Successful candidates will develop the skills required to deliver and unload a wide variety of food and food-related products safely and efficiently to various customers, ensuring that all deliveries meet company policies and customer service standards. The Driver Trainee is expected to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and colleagues while functioning as an effective team member within the department.
