As a Route Sales Driver within the Sales Team, your vital role will be to handle the sale and distribution of Coca-Cola products along assigned routes. This position is key to delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales and volume growth by maintaining strong relationships with customers. You are responsible for ensuring product availability, optimizing merchandising efforts, and positioning Coca-Cola products perfectly within retail accounts. The role requires a proactive approach to managing beverage sections, racks, displays, and vendors, all to Coca-Cola’s high standards. You will also be in charge of transporting and setting up Point of Sale advertising materials, accurately accounting for products and cash, invoicing, and collecting payments on a daily basis. Developing solid rapport with account personnel and handling daily communications, problem solving, and follow-up ensures continued customer satisfaction and loyalty.
This position demands attention to detail to maintain aesthetics, product presentation, and equipment cleanliness at all locations. It also requires the ability to manage back room organization and handle trade breakage responsibly. Routine vehicle inspections and load checks, adherence to quality assurance standards and safe working practices, and compliance with company policies are critical components of the job. You will contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere and be expected to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers. Monitoring competitors’ marketing activities and product movements is also part of your responsibilities to assist the company in remaining competitive and innovative.
