The CDL-A Driver role at PFG Customized Distribution is a vital position within the food supply chain. These drivers ensure that products reach their destinations safely, timely, and in excellent condition. Safety and professionalism are priorities for the CDL-A Driver. They are responsible for conducting all necessary safety inspections such as pre- and post-trip checks on tractor, truck, and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company standards. Drivers must report all safety hazards and repairs promptly and comply with DOT and company safety guidelines at all times. The role includes handling the loading and unloading of products carefully, ensuring proper documentation is completed and obtaining customer signatures to confirm delivery.
