Job Description
Mickey Truck Bodies is a renowned manufacturer specializing in state-of-the-art truck bodies, trailers, and specially engineered vehicles. With a comprehensive product line serving over 50 countries worldwide, the company caters to industries such as food and beverage, vending, propane, rental trucks, emergency and rescue services, battery, oil and natural gas, and data storage. This established manufacturing company is seeking to expand its team by hiring a full-time CDL B Driver at its High Point, NC location. The employment type is full-time with a Monday to Thursday schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday overtime as needed from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering a competitive hourly pay rate of $19 plus a bi-weekly productivity and performance bonus.
The CDL B Driver role is integral to maintaining the high standard of service and operational efficiency for Mickey Truck Bodies. This position is tailored for drivers experienced in operating straight trucks under CDL B certification, capable of delivering internal and external customer service of the highest quality. Responsibilities include navigating local and long-distance routes, safely maneuvering units in tight spaces, and ensuring timely deliveries. The role requires the ability to read and interpret work orders and documents, perform basic mathematical operations for measurements, and carry out assignments independently within company guidelines and safety standards. Physical demands involve frequent climbing in and out of vehicles, sitting and driving for prolonged periods, occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds, and various other physical activities consistent with the requirements of a manufacturing environment.
Working in collaboration with internal teams and external customers, the driver must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to perform under pressure while meeting deadlines. Safety compliance and maintaining active CDL B or A certifications are mandatory. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Unexpired CDL B certification for straight trucks
- min of 3 years driving experience – meet Mickey driver policy guidelines
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions
