This role is specifically for a CDL B Route Delivery Driver who will be instrumental in maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence. The position offers an attractive pay rate of $29.00 per hour, coupled with the convenience of a fixed 4-day workweek and local routes that allow drivers to return home daily. The work schedule involves overnight shifts, providing an ideal setup for those who prefer to work outside of traditional business hours. This is an active, hands-on delivery role where no drop-and-hook or passenger driving is involved. Drivers will operate a 26-foot air-brake box truck and manage a high volume of deliveries, typically between 20 to 30 stops per shift. Responsibilities include unloading fresh food products personally, utilizing a two-wheel dolly for handling product crates, and interacting professionally with store personnel. In addition to delivering goods, drivers are responsible for logging deliveries accurately using provided technology, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining all necessary DOT logs and paperwork. The role requires physical stamina to handle lifting up to 75 pounds regularly and pushing or pulling loads up to 300 pounds with the dolly, as well as comfort with climbing, bending, and working outdoors in all weather.
