Job Requirements
- 12 months commercial driving experience
- high school diploma or GED or state approved equivalent
- valid CDL B
- meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- must be 21 years of age
- clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- pass road test
- valid current DOT health card or able to secure new DOT health card
- able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and other equipment to move and stack product cases of varying size and weight
Job Qualifications

- pass road test
- valid current DOT health card or able to secure new DOT health card
- ability to hand-lift and use equipment to move and stack product cases generally weighing 10 to 35 pounds and up to approximately 60 to 90 pounds depending on location
Job Duties
- perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer according to DOT regulations
- report all safety issues and needed repairs
- follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- perform count checks of items and verify customer invoices
- complete all required paperwork associated with freight accurately and legibly
- move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
- drive to and deliver customer orders according to route schedule
- unload products and transport items to designated storage areas
- perform damage control checks on items and contact supervisor as needed
- verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures
- collect money when required
- load customer returns and secure trailer doors
- ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked and secured
- unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete paperwork
- perform housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock area
- complete daily record of hours of service and log according to DOT, state, and company requirements
- secure all equipment and complete paperwork at the end of shift
- perform other related duties as assigned
