Job Requirements

6 months commercial driving experience
High school diploma or GED or state approved equivalent
Valid CDL B
Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
Must be 21 years of age
Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
Pass road test
Valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card
Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and stack product cases and freight of varying size and weight throughout shift

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or state approved equivalent
Valid CDL B license
At least 6 months of commercial driving experience
Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
Must be 21 years of age or older
Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
Pass road test
Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one
Ability to hand-lift and use equipment to move product cases typically weighing 10-90 pounds

Job Duties

Performs all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of vehicle and trailer according to DOT regulations
Reports all safety issues and repairs needed
Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
Performs count check of loaded items and verifies against customer invoices
Completes all required paperwork accurately and legibly
Moves tractor to loading dock and attaches preloaded trailer when necessary
Drives to deliver customer orders according to predetermined route schedule
Unloads products and transports items into designated storage areas
Performs damage control checks on items and reports issues to supervisor
Verifies delivery with customer and obtains proper signatures
Collects payment where required
Loads customer returns onto trailer and secures doors
Ensures tractor, trailer, and freight security
Unloads damaged goods and returns, completing necessary paperwork
Completes daily hours of service logs per DOT and company requirements
Maintains cleanliness of tractor, loading dock area, and trailers
Secures all equipment and paperwork at shift end
Performs other related duties as assigned
