Drivers are expected to operate tractor trailers or straight trucks either on local intrastate routes or interstate runs which may include over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop assignments. Responsibilities encompass all facets of safe delivery—conducting pre- and post-trip safety inspections, securing freight, accurately completing paperwork, and adhering strictly to Department of Transportation regulations.
