We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled CDL A Yard/Shuttle Driver for our Bolingbrook, Illinois location. This position is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a competitive pay rate of $32.00 per hour. The role involves working overnight shifts from 9:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., primarily supporting operations between the cross dock and distribution center. As a Yard/Shuttle Driver at TransForce, you will be responsible for the safe movement and positioning of trailers within the yard, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods. This role demands excellent attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate equipment skillfully in tight spaces.

The CDL A Yard/Shuttle Driver plays a crucial role in logistics operations by facilitating the transfer of trailers, spotting and staging equipment as directed, and ensuring trailers are secure and ready for loading or unloading. This position requires someone with at least one year of relevant CDL driving experience, including yard or shuttle work, and a valid CDL A license. Drivers must have a clean motor vehicle record with no major violations or preventable accidents within the last three years and meet all FMCSA and DOT requirements.
