Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- ability to manually lift and carry delivery items
- ability to operate tractor-trailer safely
- willingness to work local routes and get home daily
Job Qualifications
- 21 plus years of age
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- good communication skills
- previous experience in truck driving preferred but not required
- customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on local delivery routes
- Manually unload and deliver products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through friendly and professional interactions
- Follow assigned route schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Comply with safety regulations and company policies during all phases of delivery
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any issues encountered
