Job Requirements
- Must know and adhere to DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- must be at least 21 years old
- must pass background and driving record checks
- ability to perform repetitive lifting over 50lbs and occasional lifting over 100lbs
- ability to work in all weather conditions
- able to walk extensively and stand for long periods
- normal use of shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, feet, and legs
- able to read numbers and product descriptions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- at least 1 year of route driving experience
- DOT certification
- valid State Class A CDL license
- ability to understand and enforce regulatory guidelines
- knowledge of customer service principles
- ability to use Microsoft Office and learn new software
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- basic math skills
- strong interpersonal skills
- self-motivated and customer-focused
- detail-oriented and problem solver

Job Duties
- Perform product deliveries along assigned routes
- inspect vehicle equipment and supplies and request service and repairs as needed
- assemble orders for timely delivery to customer businesses
- place delivered products in assigned storage locations
- maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage
- communicate problems to Transportation Supervisor by phone
- read maps and follow geographic directions
- manage multiple assignments and use time, equipment, and materials efficiently
- follow transportation policies and safety guidelines
- comply with traffic laws and DOT regulations
- maintain professional appearance and conduct
- complete administrative tasks and paperwork
- review customer invoices to determine delivery items
- report mechanical problems, delays, accidents
- turn in receipts and monies
- maintain records including vehicle logs and billing statements
