As a dedicated provider in the logistics industry, Idaho Milk Transport prides itself on reliability, safety, and excellent customer service, ensuring that their customers receive fresh and high-quality milk products in a timely manner. The company operates with modern equipment and a team-oriented culture, emphasizing driver satisfaction through competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits. Known for its supportive management and state-of-the-art fleet, Idaho Milk Transport is committed to providing a positive work environment for its employees, particularly their valued drivers who serve as the backbone of the operation.

The role of a Class-A CDL Driver at Idaho Milk Transport is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the chilled bulk liquid supply chain. This full-time, over-the-road (OTR) position involves transporting bulk food grade liquids from dairy farms to processing plants across a wide geographic area in the Western and Midwest states. With an average annual income ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, drivers are compensated competitively, paid by the mile at a rate of 0.65 CPM. Drivers typically spend 10 to 14 days on the road at a time, followed by flexible home time, usually 2 days at home for every week on the road.

Besides competitive pay, Idaho Milk Transport offers additional earnings through delay pay, layover pay, and breakdown pay, supporting drivers during unforeseen circumstances. Quarterly safety bonuses also reward drivers who adhere to company safety standards, reflecting the company's commitment to safe driving practices. The driver’s responsibilities include transporting liquid bulk products, conducting vehicle inspections, planning efficient routes, managing loading and unloading procedures using an automated tracking system, and complying with truck driving regulations and company policies.

The company provides a range of benefits designed to support driver wellness and professional growth. These include paid training and orientation, medical, dental, and vision insurance, a company-matched 401(k) plan contributing 15% to 40%, and access to newer automatic Volvo trucks equipped with Sirius Satellite Radio for comfort and connectivity. Moreover, Idaho Milk Transport offers programs such as lease purchase, passenger ride-along, pet rider options, and assistance in obtaining loader’s licenses where necessary. Yearly and biannual DOT physical exams are paid for by the company, further underlining their commitment to health and safety.

Join Idaho Milk Transport as a Class-A CDL Driver to enjoy a rewarding career with excellent pay, a supportive work environment, and significant opportunities for professional development and personal well-being. If you meet the qualifications and seek a company that values your contributions on the road, Idaho Milk Transport welcomes your application and offers a chance to be part of their dedicated team transporting essential dairy products across multiple states.
