As part of a large, nationwide network with over 250 terminal locations, KAG provides its drivers with modern equipment, a supportive and safety-conscious workplace, and a mission-driven culture that values teamwork and making a real difference in communities. Kenan Advantage Group prides itself on being a stable, dependable employer in an industry that is vital to everyday life, ensuring steady work and strong earnings for its drivers.
The role advertised is for CDL-A Tanker Drivers within KAG's Energy Division. This position involves hauling fuel products in tanker trucks across local routes that provide home daily schedules, offering a predictable and steady workflow. The job suits drivers who prefer consistent employment over chasing miles and are looking for strong, reliable weekly pay with an emphasis on safety and support. Drivers in this role receive paid orientation and training, ensuring they are fully equipped to handle the responsibility of transporting hazardous materials safely. With annual earnings projected around $122,000 and average weekly gross pay ranging from $2,300 to $2,500, this role offers competitive compensation with dependable weekly paychecks. The company also fosters a work-life balance with schedules that accommodate real home time, backed by a solid terminal and dispatch support team. Candidates interested in this opportunity can get started quickly by texting to apply, reflecting the company's approach to streamlined and convenient hiring processes.
This position demands specific credentials and physical capabilities, including holding a CDL-A license, possessing tanker (N) and hazardous materials (Hazmat H) endorsements, and having a minimum of one year of recent, verifiable CDL-A driving experience. Although a TWIC card or Passport is considered a bonus, it is not a requirement. The successful candidate will join a safety-first culture backed by advanced technology and rigorous training programs. The equipment used is modern and well-maintained, part of one of the largest fleets in the industry, ensuring driver comfort and reliability on the road. In essence, driving for KAG means hauling what truly matters—fuel—while benefiting from an employer that prioritizes driver welfare, job stability, and long-term career growth.
