We are currently seeking motivated CDL A City Pick-Up and Delivery (P&D) Drivers for our San Diego, California Service Center. This is a full-time position offering varied shifts Monday through Friday, with starting pay at $33.96 per hour. The CDL A City P&D Driver will be responsible for performing multiple stops daily to pick up and deliver freight within the city and returning to the terminal by the end of each shift. The position involves the use of scanning equipment to document deliveries and pickups, direct interaction with customers, and handling freight via liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack. Success in this fast-paced role requires excellent attendance, strong teamwork skills, safety consciousness, and the ability to operate various equipment safely and efficiently. Drivers must be dependable, physically capable of bending, lifting, and stooping as required, and able to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and a road test.

Applicants with a valid CDL Class A, a minimum of one year of verifiable Class A driving experience in the past three years, a good driving record, and the ability to meet physical and operational demands are encouraged to apply. Preferred qualifications include endorsements for doubles/triples, tanker, and hazmat, experience hauling hazmat, local delivery, less-than-truckload (LTL) freight, and familiarity with electric pallet jack operations.
